The Half Day Diet Review

Woman with Healthy and Unhealthy Food. Difficult choice. Overweight ConceptNow, don’t get too excited at the title and think that you can diet for just half a day and get a sexy body! I know you didn’t really think that though anyway 😉  While it’s not really just a half day diet program, this is an exciting plan by Nate Miyaki that could really give you the results you have been looking for.

What’s it all about?

If you have ever tried to find dietary advice, I’m sure you know how much information there is available. The trouble is that a lot of it is contradictory, confusing or lacking in common sense. One of the first things you will notice when you read this plan is that Nate does not sugar coat things, he gets straight to the point and doesn’t mess around. This “tough love truth” approach is a refreshing take in a sea of misinformation.  The information he does supply is the same information Nate has given to friends and family to vastly improve their health, and transform their bodies. But what’s it all about?

Well, basically, The Half Day Diet starts with a Paleo base, but is not strictly paleo. Nate argues that Paleo makes sense as a basis for healthy eating because it is mostly about common sense and logic, and eating real, unprocessed foods. This is the backbone of the program; eating real, whole, natural foods is key. However, carbs are okay on the Half Day Diet Plan. Especially if you are active, they are recommended.

The reason it is called The Half Day Diet? Because you essentially eat light for half the day, and then eat a big main meal at night. I love this about the program, because that’s what we do anyway, what feels most natural, and what fits in best with most people’s lifestyles. This is a unique approach to losing weight, as we are usually told to eat a light dinner, and to definitely not eat carbs at night!  This is one of the main reasons that this diet works so well for many people, because they can fit this in with their lifestyle. It is what they both want and need to make an eating plan sustainable. This agrees with our natural instinct, and hence psychologically makes a huge difference to adherence.

Another big plus for this plan is that you are only required to stick to the main ideas. You take the main principles of this diet plan and tailor the program to suit you. As in, if you prefer to eat 3 meals a day, that’s okay, just follow the main ideas and adapt. If you like to fast in the mornings, fine. Whatever works for you, will yield the best results, as long as you are consistently making good food choices and eating your biggest meal at night.

Oh yeah, and I almost forgot – cheat meals are recommended for best results 🙂

What do you get ?

What you get with The Half Day Diet is real, useful information. You get four manuals: The Half Day Diet Manual, The Restaurant and Fast Food Survival Guide, The Happy Hour Handbook and The Holiday Fat Loss Manual.

One of the first things I noticed when going through the Half Day Diet is that the manual actually looks really good, it is laid out really nicely and cleanly with pictures to illustrate some points. I honestly find that this attention to detail is sorely lacking in the health and fitness market. Most of the ebooks look like no one really put any effort into the layout. There are still a couple of typos, but I can forgive them because it just looks so nice 🙂

The main manual is  a very practical diet guide. It uses real life case studies to show how different people with different needs have adapted the principles to different situations all with stellar results. Everything is backed up all the way through by scientific studies, to satisfy your “inner geek.” There are a whole heap of food tables and links at the back to help, as well as diet templates that you can use as a basis to design your own eating plan.

Another good point is that the bonus manuals are actually relevant – for example I absolutely love the bonus manual that tells you what alcoholic drinks will do the least damage, instead of pretending that people can just put alcohol aside and forget all about it if they want to be lean.

The Bottom Line half-day-diet_review_2015

This is a nice, practical approach to weight loss and healthy eating. Oh, and have you seen Nate and his wife? That’s them on the cover of the book. They must be doing something right! I like that The Half Day Diet can be easily followed without too much disruption to my lifestyle. I also think its great that it can be tailored to suit your individual needs, depending on your level of activity, your eating preferences, and your daily routine. The program costs just $27 at the moment, an absolute steal. If you want to find out more, just click the link below. Good luck 🙂
